Digital Media Buyer/Planner

Hands-on digital media buyer and planner who will create, execute and optimize digital marketing campaigns across a variety of clients and digital practices including social, paid search, display, programmatic, native and mobile. 

 

Candidates should have skills in reporting, visualization, and analysis to assist with metrics-driven business decisions. Experience managing digital advertising partnerships and online marketing strategies. An understanding of how to drive media buying efforts to convert lead generation and other similar objectives.

Reports to: Digital Director

 

  • Experience with buying and analyzing social media advertising
  • Responsible for buying and analyzing all paid search, paid social, display, programmatic, and retargeting campaigns
  • Create, implement, track, analyze and optimize large-scale complex display, programmatic, and retargeting advertising campaigns on various third party advertising platforms
  • Responsible for using and analyzing FB/IG ads manager, Google display networks Adwords, and various other display, programmatic, and retargeting platforms
  • Conduct recurring daily, weekly & monthly paid social media advertising analysis and campaign optimizations.
  • Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
  • Manage campaign expenses, budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies
  • Proactively and effectively optimize media buys utilizing KPI metrics and internal data on a regular basis.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Analytics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of dedicated experience in media buying and planning
  • 2-3+ years of experience managing multi-channel paid media campaigns
  • Experience managing high-value budgets and campaigns across multiple digital advertising channels including paid search, paid social, display, retargeting, video, etc.
  • Knowledge and understanding of search marketing and programmatic marketing.
  • Keyword & competitor research experience.
  • Client facing and public speaking experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • In-depth knowledge of digital advertising platforms including Google Ads and paid social platforms
  • Experience with Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager
  • Political experience a plus
  • Google Analytics and Google Ads Certified preferred
  • Active interest in paid media industry and latest trends
  • Versatile understanding of all forms of digital marketing, including Content marketing, email marketing, affiliate marketing, social media marketing, friend referral marketing, conversion optimization, landing page optimization, paid marketing, retargeting, etc
