Digital Analyst

The Digital Analyst is responsible for ensuring reports, analysis and dashboards are shared with Coldspark’s client team leads using Sprout Social, Salesforce, Google Data Studio, Facebook, and Adobe Ad Cloud, among others. 

The Digital Analyst works alongside the Digital Media Buyer/Planner to deliver organization-wide data and digital insights as well as being a proactive specialist with the use of Coldspark’s systems and platforms, enabling teams to monitor relevant KPI information in support of strategic aims. 

Priorities will include working with the Coldspark Digital team and client leads to establish a framework and tools for improved digital data collection, tracking, reporting, and integration with other data sources. This position will work closely with income generating stakeholders as well as different units from across the organization, representing the capabilities and expertise of the digital team in regards

Key Responsibilities  

To provide objective and transparent analysis of digital data, using proven methodologies to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for investment in order to achieve Coldspark’s strategic aims.  

To work closely with Coldspark Digital and client leads to identify insight needs, agreeing data sets and requirements for KPI monitoring.  

To work with the Digital Media Buyer/Planner to develop and provide a structured data analysis service to all teams across Coldspark, producing detailed reports identifying key trends and patterns, interpreting the data into practical and useful recommendations to support strategic objectives.  

To have an understanding of Google Analytics and other digital analysis tools, and the ability to explain technical complexities to non-technical colleagues.  

To work with Coldspark Digital and client leads to ensure that tests and tracking are configured correctly for reporting and optimization.  

To understand and champion the use of audience insights data and how to get the best from it, making recommendations for future activity based on detailed scrutiny. 

To represent the data insight service at departmental meetings as and when required, championing the service and value that it can offer. 

To support and assist the Digital Media Buyer/Planner in ad placement and optimization.

To support Coldspark as and when necessary with digital analytics expertise and insight.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Political Science, Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science or related field.
  • Understanding of paid media and organic search optimization, social media, analytics and insights, marketing automation and politics
  • Experience in Salesforce, Google Data Studio, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, MS Excel, etc.
  • 1 - 3+ years of supporting digital organizations with analytics needs, agency or political campaign experience.
  • Understanding of social media, strategies, and related tools.
  • Ability to work in a rapidly growing, fast paced and dynamic company
  • Political experience a plus
